Job Detail | Job Responsibilities: Ø System Design and Administration:
Design, implement, maintain, upgrade, and administer Windows environments
(including Active Directory, Exchange Server, Microsoft SQL, and group
policies), UNIX/Linux systems, WSUS, file/printer servers, backup servers, and
virtual machines. Ø Virtualization Expertise:
Proficient in VMware or Hyper-V technologies. Ø LAN/WAN Infrastructure: Design,
implement, and manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, structured cabling, and establish
VPN, VLAN, Intranet, VoIP, and SIP connections. Ø Network Hardware Management:
Configure and maintain network hardware, including switches, routers,
firewalls, and access points, and manage firewalls such as Check Point, CISCO,
and Juniper. Ø CCTV/IP Camera Management:
Configure, administer, and maintain CCTV/IP cameras. Ø Technical Support: Provide
high-level support for users, troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software,
and operating system issues, while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of
technologies. Ø Network Security and Documentation:
Secure the network through access controls and monitoring, maintaining thorough
documentation and standard operating procedures. Ø Hardware and Software Installation:
Install and manage hardware and software applications, coordinating with third
parties as necessary. Ø Disaster Recovery and Backups:
Oversee disaster recovery efforts, including daily monitoring of backups, and
ensure efficient data organization and secure storage. Ø User Support and Resource Sharing: Assist users with technical issues, arrange resource sharing over LAN and VPN, and maintain multimedia and conferencing equipment. Ø Vendor Management: Review
vendor contracts for IT purchases to meet user needs and ensure diligent
performance of IT duties. Ø Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality regarding all organizational matters and ensure no information or documents are leaked during or after employment. Ø Additional Duties: Undertake other IT-related responsibilities assigned by senior management consistent with the role's nature. Job Requirements: Ø Ø Education: At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Ø Ø Experience: o
Minimum of 4-5 years of relevant
work experience in an IT department or related area. o
Hands-on experience in LAN/WAN
installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, including associated hardware
and software. o
Proven experience in managing CCTV
security systems, both offline and online. o
Expertise in handling local and
LAN-based printing systems. o
Experience with video conferencing
tools and conducting online meetings using available platforms. Ø Ø Technical Skills: o
Strong knowledge of information
systems, software, hardware, security systems, and backup solutions. o
Familiarity with the latest IT
trends, updates, and technological advancements. o
Proficiency in diagnosing and
resolving hardware and software faults in desktops, laptops, and phones. o
Expertise in managing and
troubleshooting operating systems, networks, and other technological systems. o
Value-added knowledge such as on CCNA/CCNP
and MCSA/MCSE are preferred. Ø Ø Additional Skills: o
